 |
Shōkyū first studied art at the Kyōto Municipal College of Painting then with Inshō Dōmoto. Later he devoted himself to teaching younger artists and published many art instruction pictures. This gallery shows forty-one pictures of flowers, fruits or birds that Shōkyū included in a 1975 publication entitled Shōkyū Shugachō (i.e., Picture Lessons by Shōkyū).
